Hello and welcome to our blog.

We chose to build the Kallara 33 with Porter Davis Homes. This was a design that we loved the most and was best suited for our needs. The possibility to delete Games room and increase our kid's bedrooms was ideal. I don't know why but none of the builders designs that we looked at had large bedrooms. The emphasis is always on the living areas and kid's rooms are always small no matter what size the house is.

Original Plan:

Changes that we made:

1. Added internal access to garage
2. Added linen to the enrty

3. Deleted wall to study and increased the Dining Room
4. Extended Alfresco
5. Games room now Bedroom 4
6. Bedrooms 3&4 now Bedroom 3
7. Added two BIR to Bedrooms 3&4
8. Freestanding bath tub option - main bathroom
9. Hydronic heating with radiators in lieu of Ducted heating

  1. Hey just wondering how you went with the flooring. I am getting the rustic anthracite also and was just wondering if you had any photos of it laid at all? Thanks
